Welcome to my blog! Since I was little and our family would holiday in Keswick I have been walking in The Lakes, so I have done quite a few of the Wainwrights already. However now that I live in The Lakes I am starting again with the aim of walking all the Wainwrights with my wife Louise, who until now hadn't done any. I am using this blog as a diary of my Wainwright walks to look back on, with routes and pictures, and maybe someone will find the info helpful.

Cat Bells and friends
A sunny bank holiday and some time off allowed us to get out and tick off Cat Bells, Maiden Moor, High Spy and Castle Crag. Click the link in the walk diaries to see the description and pics.

Troutbeck Tongue
After a month off we finally managed to get out walking at the weekend. The weather was OK but a little drizzly so we decided to tick off an easy one that neither of us had done before. My route and pics are now up in the 'Troutbeck Tongue' page in the menu to the left.

First walk diaries up
Ok so I've finally got round to doing my first walk diaries.
A couple of easy ones, Loughrigg/Badger Bar and Sallows/Sour Howes, and also the first visit to Haweswater to bag High Street and High Raise among others. I'll be heading back to Haweswater at some point as there are other Wainwrights to do that weren't on my route.
